PollPe vs Poocho vs Other Paid Survey Apps in India: What the Listings Say

PollPe, Poocho, Google Opinion Rewards, Toluna, AttaPoll and our app compared from their listings: payout method, minimum cashout, quality checks, scam signs.

In shortPollPe and Poocho are different products. PollPe is a survey app whose App Store listing states a ₹50 minimum cashout paid by UPI, Paytm or gift cards. Poocho is a web sign-up for paid video interviews run by a Pune research company, with no app on either store. Google Opinion Rewards pays Play or PayPal credit, Toluna and AttaPoll pay in points or pounds, and SuperJ pays cash and gift cards with a ₹100 minimum withdrawal. Compare each from its own listing, and never pay to join.

Start With the Store Listing, Not the Affiliate Page

Search for "pollpe" or "poocho" and you get pages that rank apps by what each pays the page owner. Before you install any of them, read what each app's own store listing or website states, put those statements side by side and notice what each leaves out. That is all we have done here.

One disclosure first. Hercules Works, which makes the SuperJ app, publishes this guide. Our app has a row in the table below and is held to the same rule as every other row: only what the listing says. Store pages were read on 2 November 2026 unless dated otherwise; listings change, so check the live page before installing.

Comparison Table: What Each Listing States

Every cell below quotes or paraphrases an official page. "Not stated" means the page we read says nothing, not that the app lacks it. These are the companies' own statements; we have not audited them.

SuperJ (ours)Meta Jupiter Software Solutions Private LimitedCash and gift cards such as Amazon Pay, Swiggy, Nykaa₹100 withdrawal balanceZero-Knowledge KYC; speeders removedEnglish in the Information box; studies run in Indian languages as needed

Where the numbers come from. ₹50 is on PollPe's App Store listing, repeated as "The minimum withdrawal is ₹50" on pollpe.app. "From £3" is on AttaPoll's App Store listing. ₹100 is the "Minimum Withdrawal Balance = ₹100" note on our App Store and Google Play pages (Play page read 13 October 2026). Google's help centre says credit "can vary" (Earn rewards). Toluna's FAQ gives 15 to 50,000 points per survey but no rupee value (Toluna FAQ). We left out star ratings, which move weekly.

PollPe vs Poocho: Not the Same Kind of Product

People search "pollpe vs poocho" as if they were rivals. They are not. PollPe is a survey app. Its App Store listing says you earn "₹5 to ₹150 / $0.10 to $2 per survey depending on length and match". You cash out from ₹50 by UPI, Paytm or gift cards. The listing names Abhiman Innovations as the developer. It lists only English under Languages while the description claims 10+ languages. Check the app before you rely on a Hindi interface.

Poocho is a research platform for brands, based in Pune (poocho.co). Consumers join through Poocho Network, which is a web form, not an app on either store. The site describes "live video conversations" and says "When you complete a session on our platform, you get paid as a thank you." It does not state the payment method or the amount per session. It shows ">30,000" network members and ">₹2.5 lakhs" in incentives distributed, as its own figures. The brand site quotes "45,000+" and "~50,000", so the counts do not agree.

So the real choice is this. PollPe offers short app surveys with small UPI payouts. Poocho, by contrast, will occasionally pay you for a video interview, which needs your time, a quiet room and a camera. You can register for both. Neither can promise how often you will be picked.

How Rewards Are Paid: UPI, Gift Cards, Points and Play Credit

Four payment styles appear in the table. Match the style to what you want to do with the money.

  • UPI or wallet cash. PollPe lists UPI and Paytm (listing). Our app's listings say "cash and gift cards" (App Store). Check the minimum and processing time inside the app before you start.
  • Gift cards. PollPe lists Amazon, Flipkart and Google Play. Our app lists Amazon Pay, Swiggy and Nykaa. A gift card is only worth something if you shop there.
  • Points. Toluna pays points that convert to "gift vouchers, cool products or even cash" (listing). Its FAQ says a PayPal email may be needed "depending on the reward and country". Delivery can take up to 3 weeks and points stay valid for 16 months (Toluna FAQ).
  • Store credit. Google Opinion Rewards pays "Google Play or PayPal credit" (Google). Its help centre says the Android app is available in 39 countries including India, for users over 18, and that each credit expires one year after it is earned (availability, redeem rewards). Play credit buys apps and in-app items, not groceries.

AttaPoll's listing quotes "Instant cash out from £3 to your bank account, PayPal, Revolut, or gift cards" and does not mention UPI or rupees (listing). Its website says only that "Our payment thresholds are low" (attapoll.app). If you need rupees, find out how the pound balance converts before you spend an hour there.

How Quality Checks Decide What You Earn

Every app in the table sells answers to researchers. Researchers pay only for answers they can use, so every app removes answers that look careless. Your earnings depend on how you answer, not only on how many surveys you open.

Google says: "If we determine that you are not answering surveys truthfully, you will receive fewer surveys". It also uses "a number of techniques to discover users who are inattentive or trying to game the system" (Answer surveys). Toluna's FAQ says it applies "strict quality controls" to confirm you fit the client's target, and that unqualified responses earn no points (Toluna FAQ). PollPe's site says "The more surveys you finish correctly, the faster you become a Priority User" (pollpe.app).

Our panel works the same way. Responses flagged as speeders, straight-lining or inconsistent are removed before analysis (panel methodology). A speeder finishes faster than the questions can be read; straight-lining is picking the same column down a grid. We do not publish whether a removed response still earns its reward, so treat careful answering as the only safe route.

Four habits protect your earnings on any app:

  1. Read each question before you answer. Timing checks catch people who do not.
  2. Keep profile answers consistent. An age or city that changes between surveys is a classic flag.
  3. Answer screening questions truthfully, even when the honest answer screens you out.
  4. Write real sentences in open-ended boxes. Gibberish and pasted text are discarded.

What Reviewers Complain About, From the Listings We Read

Store reviews are a small, self-selected sample, but they show what to watch for. Each line comes from reviews visible on the App Store India page named, read on 2 November 2026.

  • PollPe: reviewers allege withdrawals that were not paid and screen-outs late in a survey.
  • Toluna Influencers: an Indian reviewer wrote "there is no surveys available when you complete your profile survey" and that a redeemed voucher stayed "under processing".
  • AttaPoll: a reviewer described a survey that "takes 25 to 30 minutes of our time, and in the end, we get disqualified".
  • Our own app: the earning guide records the Google Play complaints we read, about gift cards unavailable to redeem and a KYC problem on an old account.

The pattern is the same everywhere: few surveys for some profiles, late screen-outs and slow redemptions. No listing we read promises otherwise.

A Scam Checklist for Paid Survey Apps

Fake survey and part-time job offers copy the names of real apps. Run this checklist before you install anything, including ours. It is our own list, not an official one.

SurveysResearch questions you can skip or quitAds, app installs or referrals called "surveys"

Three details show how to apply it. Poocho has no store app, and its own site says it uses a web sign-up, so a Poocho "app" on an APK site fails the first row. PollPe and our app state a rupee minimum on their listings, so an offer quoting a different figure fails the third row. Google Opinion Rewards never asks for a UPI PIN. Any "Google survey" that does is failing the fifth row, whatever its logo looks like.

If you have paid money or shared an OTP, the reporting steps and official portals are in the scam section of our earning guide. Act within hours.

What we would do. We would pick one app from the table, install it from the listing linked there, and withdraw once at the minimum before giving it another evening. Until that first payout lands, treat the balance shown in the app as a promise, not money. If the withdrawal stalls, the reviews above tell you what the next complaint looks like, so stop there and try the next row.

Running This Study on Hercules

If you are a researcher rather than a respondent, this is what a consumer survey in India costs with us at list price, respondents included.

StepPlanResponsesPrice per responseCost
Test the questionnaireFree30₹0₹0
Small pilotPlus100₹150₹15,000
Main studyPro400₹120₹48,000

Pro is sold in bundles of 400 to 1,000 responses and costs 20% less per response than Plus. Enterprise plans come with a dedicated research team and are priced on request.

Our network has 2 crore Indian respondents. The survey-eligible panel is a subset, and availability depends on your targeting. Members complete Aadhaar-based KYC once, and each study receives a zero-knowledge proof of verification, not identity documents. Surveys run in as many Indian languages as the study needs. Quality checks flag speeders, straight-lining and inconsistent answers. Read /panel-methodology and pricing.

The limit: the app reaches smartphone users only, so offline households need face-to-face fieldwork. If you came here to answer surveys rather than run them, the SuperJ app guide explains the install steps, the KYC and what to expect.

Frequently asked questions

Is PollPe genuine?

PollPe is listed on the App Store under Abhiman Innovations and states a ₹50 minimum cashout by UPI, Paytm or gift cards. Those are the company's statements. Visible reviews include payout complaints, so test it with a small first withdrawal.

What is Poocho, and does it have an app?

Poocho is a consumer research platform for brands, run by Poocho Research Technologies in Pune. Consumers join Poocho Network through a web form and are paid for live video interviews. Its sites list no Play Store or App Store app, and no payout method.

Which survey apps pay via UPI in India?

PollPe's App Store listing names UPI and Paytm. Our app's listings say cash and gift cards, with the method shown inside the app. Google Opinion Rewards pays Play or PayPal credit, Toluna pays points, and AttaPoll's listing names bank, PayPal, Revolut and gift cards without UPI.

Why do I get so few surveys?

Surveys go to people whose profile matches a running study. Google's help centre also says untruthful answers lead to fewer surveys. Keep your profile accurate, answer screeners honestly and expect gaps.

What happens if I rush through a survey?

Most panels flag speeders and remove the response before analysis. Our panel does. Toluna says unqualified answers earn no points, and Google says inattentive users get fewer surveys. Slow down and read every question.

Should I share my Aadhaar with a survey app?

Only inside an official app that explains why and what it keeps. Our app does Aadhaar-based KYC once, in-app, and researchers receive a proof of verification rather than documents. Never send ID photos, OTPs or UPI PINs over chat.
